The Upper Düden Şelalesi of Antalya
The Upper Düden Şelalesi (Turkish: Yukarı Düden Şelalesi) is located in Varsak district within the boundaries of Kepez district. The Obere Düden Waterfall is about 11 kilometers northeast of Antalya and is one of the best and most refreshing recreation areas.
This is a wonderful natural beauty, you can breathe fresh air and enjoy the beautiful shades of green. Not to be confused with another waterfall named Lower Düden Şelalesi waterfall, which is located on a cliff overlooking the sea.
The cave behind the waterfall is a very interesting formation. The cavities of the cave is like a window and offers a beautiful view. You can even walk under the waterfall.
What can you do at the Upper Düden Waterfall?
The Obere Düdener Wasserfall is also called "Alexander Falls". This resort is the first choice for those who want to escape from the city center and find peace in nature. There are places where you can enjoy panoramic views, as well as restaurants and cafes. There are restaurants on both sides of the river. Have lunch at one of these restaurants and admire the beautiful river views. You can also bring your own food and enjoy it in the picnic area.

Admission, tickets and tours
Admission: The Upper Düden Waterfalls is open daily. visitors are in Summer from 9:00 a.m. to 19:30 p.m. and in Winter allowed from 9:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m.
Tickets: Entry is 5 TL per person. The museum pass is not valid here.
Tours: There are several tour operators that offer combined tours of this place.
